Job summary

United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd is seeking a results-driven Corporate Banking professional to manage a portfolio of corporate clients. You will evaluate loan applications, perform credit reviews, and cross-sell banking products to drive profitability while ensuring strict KYC and CDD compliance.

The role emphasizes building strong client relationships, monitoring facility utilization, and delivering high-quality service to achieve KPIs.

Qualifications

• Possess a recognised degree or Diploma/Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college.
• Strong interest in financial planning and willing to work in a sales-driven environment.
• Strong business acumen, proactive and highly motivated self-starter.
• Positive attitude, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent teamwork/spirit.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing a portfolio (Corporate clients) including evaluating their loan applications, conducting credit reviews, marketing and cross-selling a wide range of banking products and services
• Monitor overall facility utilisation and profitability of the assigned portfolio
• Build rapport and develop meaningful networking to maintain account relationships with both existing and prospective clients
• Build client loyalty by establishing a trusted advisor relationship, as 'The Trusted Banker to call'
• Identify clients’ needs and capture new financing and / or cross selling opportunities; negotiate for best margins to optimise profitability
• Deliver both in terms of speed and quality for all KPIs assigned
• Ensure accuracy on customer due diligence (“CDD”) and Know Your Customer (“KYC”)
