Job summary

United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a relationship manager to manage regional portfolios, evaluate loan applications, and build strong client relationships. You will drive cross-selling across banking products while ensuring compliance with CDD and KYC standards.

The role requires a degree or diploma, strong sales experience, and a proactive, customer-focused mindset. You will operate within a sales-driven environment with KPI targets and cross-border exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma is required in any field.
• Strong interest in financial planning and sales-driven environment.
• At least 8 years of sales experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Manage regional portfolios, evaluate loan applications and conduct credit reviews.
• Monitor facility utilisation and profitability of the assigned portfolio.
• Build rapport and network to maintain account relationships with clients.
• Establish a trusted advisor relationship and cross-sell banking products.
• Identify client needs and negotiate financing or cross-selling opportunities.
• Deliver speed and quality to meet KPI targets.
• Experience in cross-border transactions and umbrella facilities.
• Ensure accuracy of CDD and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.
