Job summary

Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad in Kuala Lumpur seeks a seasoned Corporate Banking Credit Analyst to originate and manage borrowing relationships, performing KYC and negotiating facility terms with clients.

You will prepare credit applications, coordinate with GCA and Legal to issue offers and perfect security, and monitor covenants, annual reviews, and portfolio stress tests, ensuring timely drawdown and active risk management.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of commercial banking credit and risk analysis experience.
• Strong sales management skills.

• Strong understanding of credit and risk analysis processes.
• Good market knowledge and intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and originate new borrowing relationships with thorough understanding of clients (KYC) and negotiate facility structure, pricing, security, covenants and terms.
• Prepare and present full set of credit applications for approval by the relevant approving authority.
• Liaise with Group Credit Administration (GCA) and Group Legal to ensure timely issuance of offers and perfection of security documentation as per approved terms for swift facility implementation and drawdown.
• Follow up on covenants and terms imposed by approving authority to ensure compliance and closure.
• Ensure timely submission of annual reviews.
• Ensure facilities are well utilized and accounts are well conducted.
• Conduct regular channel checks on clients’ reputation in the market.
• Conduct regular marketing calls on existing clients for annual reviews, soliciting for credit and transaction banking opportunities, early risk identification.
• Conduct quarterly stress tests of the existing portfolio.
