Job summary

Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad is seeking a seasoned credit and risk professional to develop and originate borrowing relationships, applying in-depth client understanding and Know Your Customer practices. You will negotiate facility structures, pricing, security arrangements, covenants and terms.

You will prepare and present full credit applications for approvals, and coordinate with Group Credit Administration and Group Legal to timely issue Letters of Offer or Advice and perfect security

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of commercial banking credit and risk analysis experience.
• Good sales management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skill.
• Strong general administrative and managerial expertise.
• Good customer service skill.
• Strong understanding of credit and risk analysis processes.
• Good market knowledge and intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and originate new borrowing relationships which involve in-depth understanding of the clients (Know Your Customer) and negotiation on key issues including but not limited to facility structure, pricing, security arrangement, covenants and terms and conditions.
• Prepare and present full set of credit application for approval by the relevant approving authority.
• Liaise closely with Group Credit Administration (GCA) and Group Legal to ensure timely issuance of Letter of Offer or Letter of Advice, as the case may be, and perfection of relevant security documentation as per approved terms and conditions for swift facility implementation and drawdown.
• Closely follow up on covenants, terms and conditions imposed by approving authority to ensure compliance and closure.
• Ensure timely submission of annual review.
• Ensure facilities are well utilized and account is well conducted.
• Conduct regular channel checks on client’s reputation in the market.
• Conduct regular marketing calls on existing clients for purpose of annual reviews, soliciting for credit and transaction banking opportunities, early risk identification, as the case may be.
• Conduct quarterly stress test of existing portfolio.
