Job summary

IJM Land Berhad is seeking a Contract Executive with a background in quantity surveying to manage tender processes, contract administration, and progress claims for major property development projects. You will liaise with clients, consultants, and site teams to ensure compliant, timely project execution.

The role requires a degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience, including tendering and variation orders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in contracts administration/quantity surveying within property development, main contractor, or construction environment.
• Experience in tendering, contract administration, progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage tender documentation for new project bids, including contract documentation for successful tenders.
• Verify material requisitions, quantity take-offs, and site measurements for cost/quantity accuracy.
• Prepare and submit progress claims and invoices to clients/consultants to support timely cash flow.
• Monitor and administer main contracts and sub-contracts to ensure compliance with terms and project requirements.
• Prepare progress reports, payment recommendations, variation orders, and final accounts submissions.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and site teams on contract-related matters.
