Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong time management and project management skills.
• Experience managing subcontractors, consultants, and clients will have an added advantage.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field.
• Required language, Chinese, English, Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all quantity surveying and contract administration activities for assigned projects.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, Bills of Quantities (BQ) and tender documents.
• Evaluate tenders, quotations and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare and manage subcontract agreements and purchase orders.
• Monitor project costs, cash flow and budget performance.
• Prepare progress claims, payment certificates, variation orders (VO) and final accounts.
• Review and verify subcontractors' progress claims and invoices.
• Administer contracts in accordance with contract terms and project requirements.
• Identify contractual risks and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams on contractual and commercial matters.
• Prepare cost reports, financial forecasts and project cost analyses for management.
• Ensure proper documentation and record keeping for all contractual matters.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to QS team members.
• Support project teams in cost control and value engineering initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations and relevant regulations.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.
