Job summary

Mega City Builder Sdn Bhd seeks an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee daily on-site operations in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery of our construction projects on a contract basis. You will coordinate crews, liaise with managers, architects and clients, lead the on-site team, enforce safety protocols, and implement quality control measures to resolve issues quickly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, equipment and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and contracts.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in construction planning, scheduling and cost control.
• Familiarity with construction project management software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the work of construction crews, subcontractors and tradespeople to ensure timely and efficient completion of project tasks.
• Monitor and report on progress, identifying and resolving any issues or bottlenecks to keep the project on track.
• Ensure construction activities comply with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Liaise with project managers, architects and clients to provide updates and address concerns.
• Implement quality control measures and inspect work to identify and rectify defects.
• Lead and motivate the on-site construction team, providing guidance and support as needed.
