Job summary

Mega City Builder Sdn Bhd in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah invites applications for a Senior Contract Manager. This full-time role oversees contractual matters across multiple construction projects, ensuring compliance, risk control, and strong stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

You will draft, review, and negotiate contracts (main contracts, subcontracts, supplier agreements), monitor performance, resolve disputes, and maintain robust contract documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years' experience in contract management within construction.
• Experience with PAM, CIDB, and international contracts.
• Skilled in drafting, negotiating, and administering contracts.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, risk management, and dispute resolution.
• Ability to manage multiple complex contracts and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office and contract management software.
• Professional qualification in construction contract management or law is desirable.
• Experience on large-scale infrastructure or commercial projects.
• Familiar with Malaysian construction industry practices and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Processing and managing variations, claims, and change orders in accordance with contract provisions.
• Preparing regular contract management reports and performance metrics for senior management.
• Providing contract management guidance and support to project teams and operational staff.
• Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards in all contract management activities.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Manager to join our dynamic team at our Kota Kinabalu, Sabah office. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex contracts simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and contract management software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Professional qualification in construction contract management or law is highly desirable
• Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or commercial building projects
• Familiarity with Malaysian construction industry practices and regulations
