You will draft, review, and negotiate contracts (main contracts, subcontracts, supplier agreements), monitor performance, resolve disputes, and maintain robust contract documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years' experience in contract management within construction.
• Experience with PAM, CIDB, and international contracts.
• Skilled in drafting, negotiating, and administering contracts.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, risk management, and dispute resolution.
• Ability to manage multiple complex contracts and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office and contract management software.
• Professional qualification in construction contract management or law is desirable.
• Experience on large-scale infrastructure or commercial projects.
• Familiar with Malaysian construction industry practices and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Managing and administering all contractual obligations for multiple construction projects from inception through completion.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction contracts, including main contracts, subcontracts, and supplier agreements.
• Monitoring contract performance and ensuring compliance with terms and conditions by all parties.
• Identifying and mitigating contractual risks and disputes before they escalate.
• Maintaining comprehensive contract documentation, registers, and management systems.
• Liaising with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and legal advisors to resolve contractual issues.
• Processing and managing variations, claims, and change orders in accordance with contract provisions.
• Preparing regular contract management reports and performance metrics for senior management.
• Providing contract management guidance and support to project teams and operational staff.
• Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards in all contract management activities.
