Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to supervise a team responsible for the administrative management of supplier contracts, certifications, and documentation, ensuring compliance with client requirements.

The role sits within Contract Quality Management, overseeing contract review, performance, and fulfillment across multiple client engagements in Malaysia. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with min 8 years of experience in facilities management.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
• Leadership skills to motivate team and impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Extensive organizational skills with a curious mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor training and development, and conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities; set schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
• Review, interpret, and evaluate contract and service agreements.
• Answer customer inquiries pertaining to modifications of existing contracts.
• Prepare and evaluate proposals for new or continuation of contracts and make award recommendations.
• Negotiate and monitor the fulfillment of contractual obligations.
• Review amendments to existing contracts or extension requests; provide recommendations.
• Lead by example and model CBRE RISE values; influence parties to reach agreement.
• Apply knowledge of own discipline and how it integrates with others to achieve objectives.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues.
