Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Malaysia seeks a Contract Manager (Facilities) for its Batu Kawan manufacturing plant in Penang. You will lead the contract with P&L ownership and deliver hard and soft FM services, supervising the account team and ensuring client satisfaction.

You will drive governance, safety and regulatory compliance, and collaborate with stakeholders to meet contractual commitments while upholding CBRE’s Local Operating Model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred; minimum 3–5 years of managing industrial facilities.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated information and convey performance expectations.
• Leadership skills to motivate teams and impact quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
• Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
• Good interpersonal skills, able to present to groups.

Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for profit and loss including financial plans for revenue and profit delivery, management of UBR, debt, cost control, and growth.
• Ensure optimum staffing structures are in place, balancing cost reduction with service excellence and workload peaks.
• Governance regimes to meet regulatory, policy and contractual commitments, and ensure Local Operating Model elements are in place.
• Drive commercial and financial governance through accurate reporting and change control.
• Supply chain management, including supplier negotiations and re-bidding, and identifying additional scope opportunities.
• Collaborate with operational leaders to develop the business and maintain CBRE's RISe values.
• Lead site operations and ensure policy compliance across service lines (hard/soft).
• Supervise, plan, and coordinate maintenance, help desk, and service delivery; manage KPIs.
