Job summary

Aset Kayamas Development Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Contract Executive / Contract Executive to evaluate progress claims from subcontractors and suppliers, assist in final account settlements, and manage all contract administration matters. The role requires coordinating variation orders, EOT, and related claims while communicating with clients, consultants, and site teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Degree, Quantity Surveying, Engineering (Others) or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in contract/work related fields.
• Meticulous with good interpersonal skills.
• Languages: Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate progress claims from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist in settlement of Final Accounts for Main Contractor and sub-contractors.
• Manage and coordinate project contractual matters, including claims, verification, and certification.
• Measure and take-offs for ongoing projects; issue contractual letters and notices to clients and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with project teams on variation orders, extensions of time, and loss/expense matters.
• Attend site valuations, site meetings, and prepare progress payments.
• Coordinate QS activities in a cost-effective manner.
• Comply with company procedures on contracts and administration.
• Willing to travel or be transferred to sites as required.
• Meet tight deadlines, work under pressure, and work independently.
• Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, construction team, and subcontractors.
• Prepare project costing and administration of contract documentation and letters.

Senior Contract Executive / Contract Executive

To evaluate the progress claim received from the subcontractors and suppliers

To assist in the settlement of Final Account for the Main Contractor and sub-contractors

Able to manage and coordinate project related contractual matters, including progress claim, verification, comparison and certification of sub-contractors and suppliers claims

Measurement, taking off for on-going projects/issuance of contractual letters and notices to clients, sub-contractors and suppliers

Coordinate with project teams in administering contractual claims such as variation orders, extension of time, loss, expenses, etc

Attending site valuation, site meeting and preparing progress payment

Coordinate various QS activities in the most cost effective way

Comply, confirm and implement company procedure on all contract and administration matters

Willing to travel or transferred at site when required

Able to meet tight deadline, work under pressure and work independently

Able to communicate and coordinate effectively with Client, Consultants, Construction Team and Sub-contractors

Preparation of project costing / administration of contract and letter writing

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Degree, Quantity Survey, Engineering (Others) or equivalent
• More than 5 years’ experience
• Meticulous with good interpersonal skills
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
