Job summary

Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Contract Executive to support the Contract Manager in post-contract administration, measurements and valuations for projects at Old Klang Road, Kuala Lumpur. The role involves preparing variation orders, progress claims and attending site meetings.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's in Quantity Surveying, be fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is required for liaising with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Mandarin fluency for liaising with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and colleagues.
• Minimum 1–2 years' working experience in the related field.
• Knowledge of Glodon measurement software is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist Contract Manager to carry out post-contract administration.

To be responsible in overall contract administration.

To conduct project measurement and valuation.

To produce variation order, compilation and costing.

To attend site meetings with the Management / consultants / contractors.

To issue Letter of Award to sub-contractors and follow up on the progress.

To process claims from sub-contractors for payment.

To prepare final measurement and final account.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia.

Must be fluent in Mandarin as this role requires liaising with Mandarin speaking suppliers and colleagues to complete daily tasks.

At least 1 - 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Knowledge of Glodon measurement software will be an added advantage.

Computer literate with knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Possess good negotiation skills, meticulous, independent, and able to work in fast-pace environment.

Preferably candidates with working experience in Main Contractor company.
