Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Compensation & Incentives Specialist in Kuala Lumpur to shape pay and performance across markets. You will align reward strategies with cost controls, collaborating with Finance and senior leaders in a fast-moving, global fintech environment.

You will design incentive structures, run cost models, and benchmark against markets while ensuring equity and sustainability across regions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Compensation, Total Rewards, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience in incentive design, commission structures, or bonus schemes.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; BI tools are a plus.
• Strong commercial acumen and comfort with numbers and ambiguity.
• Experience supporting multi-country or global populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and refine job architecture, role levelling, and salary bands across regions.
• Support annual salary reviews, promotions, and off-cycle compensation with budget discipline.
• Provide market benchmarking insights and pay positioning aligned to reward budgets.
• Act as gatekeeper to ensure compensation decisions are consistent and financially sustainable.
• Lead compensation reviews, including budgeting, merit increases, and bonus cycles.
• Design, administer, and optimise variable pay programs; build simulations for affordability and ROI.
• Partner with Finance to ensure incentive plans are measurable and aligned with business outcomes.
• Deliver data-driven insights to support offers, moves, and reward decisions.
• Monitor internal equity, market competitiveness, and incentive effectiveness.
