Job summary

PeopleLAKE Group in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, seeks a hands-on Senior Manager, Total Rewards to lead the design, governance and implementation of our rewards agenda across compensation, benefits, incentives, recognition, job architecture and performance management.

You will translate our rewards philosophy into practical policies, support talent attraction and retention, ensure internal equity, and partner with senior management on budget and governance in a fast-growth fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of experience in Total Rewards, Compensation & Benefits, or HR roles.
• Consultancy background preferred – Big Four or rewards advisory firms.
• Hands-on experience in compensation analysis, salary structure review, and benchmarking.
• Experience supporting performance management cycles – calibration and differentiation.
• Professional certification in compensation, benefits, or rewards is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop salary ranges, job grades, pay positioning, merit guidelines, and variable pay recommendations.
• Conduct job evaluation, job sizing, and job architecture work across business units.
• Support the annual rewards cycle – frameworks, budget analysis, calibration materials, and approvals.
• Support performance calibration, rating distribution analysis, and performance-linked rewards recommendations.
• Provide advisory support on hiring offers, promotions, retention risks, and off-cycle adjustments.
• Review and governance of benefits and wellbeing programs, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance.
• Monitor total rewards metrics – market positioning, pay equity, budget utilisation, and incentive distribution.
