Job summary

Viridien seeks a Compensation Specialist in Malaysia to design, implement, and manage competitive compensation programs that drive talent attraction and retention. You will analyze pay data, develop salary bands, and participate in market benchmarking with leading providers while ensuring compliance and transparency.

The role partners with HR, Finance, and Talent Acquisition to create compelling offers and cost analyses for offers, promotions, and program changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in compensation or a related HR discipline.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with HRIS platforms (Workday preferred).
• Familiarity with market data providers (Mercer, WTW) and benchmarking practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyze internal and external compensation data to support pay decisions.
• Design and maintain salary structures, pay ranges, and incentive programs.
• Participate in market benchmarking and compensation surveys (e.g., Mercer, WTW).
• Provide financial modeling and cost analysis for offers, promotions, and program changes.
• Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition to develop competitive offers.
• Ensure compliance with compensation regulations and pay transparency requirements.
• Support annual compensation cycles (merit increases, bonuses, equity programs).
• Calculate and administer short- and long-term incentive plans.
• Deliver training to HR and managers on compensation policies and tools.
• Maintain compensation policies, frameworks, and documentation.
