Job summary

Clarks is seeking a Compensation Analyst to lead APAC compensation programs from Malaysia, partnering with HR and business leaders to ensure competitive, compliant reward practices aligned with the Global Reward Strategy.

Based in Malaysia, you will own regional benchmarking, pay ranges, and annual pay review inputs, while coordinating with global stakeholders and markets. Five days on-site with occasional virtual alignment with US-based manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Finance or related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication with English proficiency.
• 6+ years of experience in Compensation, Total Rewards, or related field.
• Multi-country and retail industry experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills for benchmarking and modeling.
• Knowledge of compensation legislation and job evaluation methodologies.
• Ability to lead cross-functional, cross-cultural stakeholder groups.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of independent work.

Responsibilities

• Act as regional compensation lead for APAC, partnering with global compensation community.
• Serve as day-to-day compensation advisor for regional HR partners and leaders.
• Design and manage compensation initiatives aligned to global reward principles.
• Lead pay benchmarking and survey participation for assigned locations.
• Support development and maintenance of pay ranges across APAC.
• Coordinate inputs for annual pay review, ensuring costed and compliant recommendations.
• Monitor legislative and market developments to maintain compliant pay practices.
• Build external market data networks and share insights with stakeholders.
• Lead defined global compensation projects and audits with cross-functional teams.
