We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Senior Business Development Executive to expand our customer base and drive business growth within the plastics and chemicals industry. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building long-term customer relationships, and delivering value-added solutions that support our customers' business needs.
Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the plastics and chemicals industry.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and key industry stakeholders.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and growth opportunities.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and business growth targets.
Prepare quotations, proposals, presentations, and negotiate commercial agreements with customers.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment, inventory availability, and customer satisfaction.
Monitor market pricing, customer demand, and industry developments to support business planning.
Represent the company at exhibitions, industry events, and networking activities to strengthen market presence.
Resolve customer enquiries and provide responsive after-sales support to ensure long-term customer satisfaction.
Prepare sales reports, analyse performance, and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or trading.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
Good command of spoken and written English.
Mandarin proficiency (spoken and written) is preferred to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
Experience in the plastics, chemical, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
Knowledge of plastics trading, supply chain operations, or market trends.
Experience using CRM systems or sales management tools.
