Job summary

Modern Material Enterprises in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a sales professional to promote and sell our plastic packaging products. You will identify new business opportunities, service existing clients, and liaise with production to meet orders.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of manufacturing sales experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in English, Malay, and Mandarin is a plus. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply with a strong aptitude.

Qualifications

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Education level: SPM graduate or above.
Language skills: English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin; Mandarin advantageous.
Experience: minimum 2 years in manufacturing; knowledge in plastic packaging is a plus.
Total income includes basic salary plus sales and collection commission.

Responsibilities

Promote and sell company products to customers.
Identify and acquire new business opportunities and service existing clients.
Liaise and coordinate with customers on problem solving; regular visits to customers.
Keep track of customer credit limits and terms; monitor and collect payments timely.
Collaborate with production team on customer orders.
Prepare and compile relevant sales reports.
Assist with ad-hoc tasks assigned by the manager.
Write daily or weekly reports.
