Job summary

LGE Plastic Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a driven Senior Business Development Executive to expand our plastics and chemicals client base and drive growth. You will identify opportunities, build long-term relationships, and deliver value-added solutions.

The role requires 3-5 years of BD/sales experience, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently. Mandarin proficiency is a plus. Attractive commission, training, and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or trading.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Mandarin proficiency (spoken and written) is preferred to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the plastics and chemicals industry.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and key industry stakeholders.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and growth opportunities.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, presentations, and negotiate commercial agreements with customers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment, inventory availability, and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market pricing, customer demand, and industry developments to support business planning.
• Represent the company at exhibitions, industry events, and networking activities.
• Resolve customer enquiries and provide responsive after-sales support for long-term satisfaction.
• Prepare sales reports, analyse performance, and recommend improvements.
