Job summary

OffGamers Sdn. Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to translate business requests into clear requirements for design, development and QA teams. You will check AI-drafted PRDs, fix gaps, and sign off on the final version.

You will run kick-off sessions, write use cases and acceptance criteria, break work into stories in Shortcut, and ensure traceability from business needs to built features, while collaborating with design, tech and QA.

Qualifications

• Min 3 years as a Business Analyst on digital products.
• Experience in e-commerce, marketplace, fintech or payments is a strong plus.
• Ability to write clear PRDs that engineers, designers and managers can follow.
• Experience testing features and identifying gaps.
• Proficient in AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT; capable of giving context and validating outputs.
• Ability to read API specs and data tables.
• Experience in Agile teams using Shortcut, Jira, Figma, Confluence or Notion.
• Nice to have: workflow automation tools like n8n or Zapier; knowledge of KYC/AML rules.

Responsibilities

• Understand the request and run kick-off sessions to uncover the real problem, affected audiences and success metrics.
• Review BRD and clarify gaps; assess impact on other products, teams and systems before work starts.
• Review AI-drafted PRD, fill gaps, and ensure a single source of truth for development teams.
• Write use cases, process flows, business rules and acceptance criteria.
• Break work into stories in Shortcut and maintain traceability from needs to features.
• Brief UI/UX design, review wireframes and ensure PRD alignment with final design.
• Groom with tech, answer questions, and update PRD as needed.
• Guide QA: review test cases, SIT/UAT, and confirm outcomes align with business asks.
• Join demos and deliver user guides post-go-live; verify post-release functionality.
• Lead scope changes, capture rationale, and surface risks early; resolve blockers.
• Mentor Junior BA; improve templates and AI prompts to raise drafting quality over time.

We run G2G and OffGamers (online marketplaces for games and digital goods) and pipwave (a payments platform). We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst to turn business requests into clear requirements. Our design, tech and QA teams build and test from what you write. We use AI to write the first draft of our requirements. You'll be the person who checks them, fixes them and signs them off.

What you'll do

Understand the request

Run kick-off sessions with the person who raised the request. Find out the real problem, who it affects and what success looks like.

Read the Business Requirements Document (BRD) and ask the questions it doesn't answer yet.

Check how a request affects other products, teams and systems before work starts.

Own the requirements

Review the AI-drafted Product Requirements Document (PRD). Correct it, fill the gaps and make it the one version everyone works from.

Write use cases, process flows, business rules and acceptance criteria (the conditions a feature must meet to be accepted).

Break the work into stories in Shortcut, following our naming standard.

Keep a clear link from each business need to the feature that gets built.

Work with design

Brief the UI/UX designer and review their wireframes and Figma designs.

After design sign-off, check the PRD against the final design and update it. Then sign off the PRD.

Work with tech and QA

Walk the tech team through the requirements in a grooming session before build starts.

Answer developer questions during build. Update the PRD when things change.

Test each functional requirement in staging (the test version of our site) against the PRD before it goes to QA. Log anything that doesn't match and follow it until it's fixed.

Support QA during SIT (system integration testing) and UAT (user acceptance testing). Review test cases and confirm the result is what the business asked for.

Join the demo where tech shows what was built. Then write the user guide before go-live.

Check the feature after release to confirm it works as expected.

Handle change

Run scope change and requirement clarification sessions. Record what changed, why, and who agreed.

Raise risks and blockers early, with a clear ask.

Lead and improve

Take the most complex requests, especially payments work (payin, payout, identity checks and risk rules).

Coach the Junior BA and review their PRDs before sign-off.

Improve our templates, checklists and AI prompts so the first drafts get better over time.

What we're looking for

Min 3 years as a Business Analyst on digital products. E-commerce, marketplace, fintech or payments experience is a strong plus.

You write clearly. An engineer, a designer and a manager can each read your PRD once and know what to do.

You've tested features yourself, not just written the requirements. You're careful and you notice small gaps.

You use AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT in your work every week. You know how to give them good context, and you always check what they give back.

You can read an API spec (how two systems talk to each other) and a data table.

You've worked in Agile teams with tools like Shortcut or Jira, Figma, and Confluence or Notion.

You're comfortable saying "not yet" when a request isn't ready, and explaining why.

Nice to have: workflow automation tools like n8n or Zapier. Knowledge of KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (anti-money laundering) rules.
