Job summary

SoftwareOne in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Business Analyst – Application Development to bridge business stakeholders and technical teams, translating requirements into impactful applications that deliver measurable outcomes.

You will work with business users, developers, architects, and project teams to define requirements and support successful delivery across the application lifecycle. This role emphasizes collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst or similar role supporting application development or digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong requirements gathering, business process analysis, and documentation skills, including user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.
• Good understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional development teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into practical technology solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative approach with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities
