Job summary

PowTech Solutions (M) Sdn. Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to join our growing team. You will translate business needs into clear requirements and work with stakeholders to define functional specs for enterprise applications and digital transformation projects.

You will collaborate with developers, architects, data teams, and vendors, support agile delivery, assess impact, and ensure security and governance standards are met, including UAT support and solution rollout.

Qualifications

• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements for enterprise applications.
• Strong ability to analyze business processes and design effective solutions.
• Experience with integration, APIs, cloud apps, data migration.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and UAT support.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.
• Analyse business processes and recommend suitable technology solutions.
• Facilitate workshops, requirement discussions, and solution walkthroughs with stakeholders.
• Prepare business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, user stories, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with development teams on solution design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Support Agile delivery by refining user stories and assisting in sprint planning activities.
• Conduct impact assessments for enhancement requests and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT), solution rollout, and user adoption.
• Ensure solutions comply with security, governance, and quality standards.
• Work closely with product owners, architects, developers, operations teams, and external vendors throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise application or digital transformation projects.

Strong skills in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and solution design.

Experience with system integration, workflow solutions, and enterprise applications.

Understanding of APIs, cloud applications, authentication, reporting, and data migration.

Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Key success criteria will be product management experience and mindset, AWS related experience, technically strong is preferred.

Candidate with Financial Institutions background are welcome too.
