Job summary

Value Pavilion Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Building Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our commercial property in Kuala Lumpur. This full-time role focuses on delivering safe, comfortable, and productive environments for tenants and occupants while guiding strategic building operations.

You will supervise maintenance staff, coordinate contractors, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with Malaysia codes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in building management or facilities.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and safety systems.
• Experience managing budgets and cost-saving initiatives.
• Leadership skills to supervise maintenance teams.
• Proficiency with building management software and MS Office.
• Familiarity with Malaysia building codes and compliance.
• On-call availability for emergencies.
• Valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations including security, maintenance, and utilities.
• Manage maintenance staff, contractors, and service providers.
• Develop preventive maintenance plans to reduce downtime.
• Monitor HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and safety compliance.
• Handle tenant concerns professionally and timely.
• Manage budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and local regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and safety audits.
• Coordinate emergency procedures and incident documentation.
• Liaise with external service providers for repairs and upgrades.
