Job summary

Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is seeking a seasoned maintenance and engineering leader to plan, direct and evaluate the department responsible for the mall's facilities. You will oversee installation, maintenance and repair of infrastructure, machinery and building systems to ensure safe, reliable operations.

The role requires 8+ years in building management, strong leadership and budgeting skills, and the ability to coordinate projects and manage contracts with external vendors while ensuring

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical and Engineering or related to facility operations and maintenance.
• 8+ years of supervisory experience in building management and maintenance in malls/retail.
• Experience in Electrical, HVAC, Fire Service, BAS, Plumbing, Sanitary systems.
• Knowledge of building maintenance regulations.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the overall operations of maintenance and engineering department in the mall.
• Oversee installation, maintenance and repair of mall infrastructure including machinery and electrical/mechanical systems.
• Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure all maintenance and equipment comply with statutory requirements.
• Plan and manage budget estimates for building maintenance expenditures.
• Coordinate construction projects and administer contracts for supplies and services.
• Liaise with government departments regarding building operations.
