Job summary

Exyte Malaysia is seeking a BIM Coordinator to lead multidisciplinary BIM activities for a major hyperscale data centre project in Cyberjaya. You will coordinate architectural, structural, MEP and ELV disciplines while ensuring model quality and data integrity.

The role requires strong clash detection, BEP/LOD knowledge and experience with Revit, Navisworks and BIM 360. Availability to work standard hours in Cyberjaya is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires a Degree, Diploma or equivalent in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, Building Services, BIM or related discipline.
• Typically 5+ years of BIM coordination experience on large-scale or complex projects.
• Experience with MEP, industrial, data centre or similarly complex projects is preferred.
• Hyperscale data centres or mission-critical facilities exposure is advantageous.
• Strong clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination capabilities.
• Knowledge of BEP, LOD, model federation, CDE workflows and information management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate BIM activities across architectural, structural, civil, MEP, ELV, fire protection and other disciplines.
• Manage federated models and ensure alignment with BIM Execution Plan and project standards.
• Lead clash detection and coordinate resolutions with relevant teams.
• Maintain model quality including naming conventions, parameters, classification, coordinates and LOD.
• Coordinate design interfaces among consultants, contractors, subcontractors and vendors.
• Support constructability reviews and identify installation, access, maintenance and sequencing issues.
• Track BIM-related RFIs, queries, clashes and coordination items through to closure.
• Support construction teams with site coordination, shop drawings and coordinated construction documentation.
• Update project models via site surveys, verification and as-built provisions.
• Maintain BIM information in the Common Data Environment and manage data exchanges.
• Monitor deliverables against project milestones and provide progress updates.
