Mindteck is expanding its Product Engineering Services in Malaysia and Southeast Asia, seeking a Senior Business Development Manager with an engineering foundation. You will open new accounts, build pipelines, and drive deals from concept to manufacturing handover, working with engineering and procurement teams.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in engineering roles and 5+ years in BD, with a strong network in the Malaysia/SEA hi-tech ecosystem and willingness to travel to client sites as

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer or related field).
• 10+ years total experience with an engineering background in product design, development, R&D or related roles.
• At least 5 years in a Business Development Manager role selling engineering services, EMS/ODM or semiconductor solutions.
• Proven track record of opening new accounts and meeting revenue targets.
• Hands-on understanding of hardware product lifecycle from concept to manufacturing.
• Existing network within Malaysia/SEA semiconductor or hi-tech ecosystem is a strong advantage.
• Selected candidate must be able to work remotely within KL, Selangor and travel to client sites as required.

Responsabilités

• Open new markets and grow Mindteck's Product Engineering Services in Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
• Build and manage a sales pipeline from scratch and close deals against revenue targets.
• Lead technical discussions with engineering teams and negotiate commercial terms with senior management.
