Job summary

RecruitFirst is seeking a sales-oriented professional in Malaysia to develop new business opportunities within the lighting and related industries. You will identify project sales, build relationships with developers, contractors and distributors, and provide tailored product solutions to meet project requirements.

The role requires strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills, with willingness to travel for client meetings and visits when required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales, Engineering or related field preferred.
• Relevant experience in sales, business development or account management.
• Experience in lighting, electrical, M&E, construction, building materials or related industries advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
• Identify and follow up on project sales opportunities within lighting, electrical, M&E and construction sectors.
• Build and maintain relationships with developers, contractors, consultants, distributors and other key stakeholders.
• Manage existing customer accounts and provide suitable product solutions based on project requirements.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and sales presentations, and negotiate commercial terms to secure orders.
• Monitor sales pipelines, follow up on leads and achieve assigned sales targets.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
