Job summary

Spritzer Group in Taiping, Perak, Malaysia, is seeking an Automation Engineer to lead automation initiatives. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least five years in automation or engineering, with strong Excel/Power BI skills.

You will install automation software, manage a Systems Support Technician team, perform preventive maintenance and audits, and identify cost-saving automation opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic, Engineering, Plant Maintenance or related field.
Minimum 5 years in Automation, Engineering or related field.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI or similar tools.

Responsibilities

Install applications and databases relevant to automation.
Manage System Support Technician team.
Conduct Preventive Maintenance and necessary service.
Highlight parts to purchase and issue PR.
Execute audit and machine performance evaluation.
Identify opportunities for automation within software processes.
Troubleshoot automation-related machinery breakdowns and perform root cause analysis.
Involve in automation projects and training of personnel.
Assist other departments in automation-related operations, equipment and processes.
Maintain all technical project files and improve operations for efficiency, cost saving, safety and reliability.

Job description

Minimum bachelor's degree in Mechatronic, Engineering, Plant Maintenance or any other related field.
Minimum 5 years in Automation, Engineering or other related filed.
Advance in Microsoft tools such as Excel, Power BI and so on.
Have good communication skills and leadership skills.
Willing to work in Taiping, Perak.
To install applications and databases relevant to automation.
To manage System Support Technician team.
To conduct Preventive Maintenance and necessary service.
To highlight parts to purchase and issue PR
To execute audit and machine performance evaluation.
To identify opportunities for automation within software processes.
To attend to automation related machinery breakdown to troubleshoot and completion of root cause analysis.
To involve on automation projects and handle personnel training and knowledge sharing.
To assist other department in automation related operation, equipment and processes.
To ensure all the technical project files are maintained.
To improve operations for efficiency, cost saving, safety and reliability.
To ensure that subordinates are carrying out as per schedule.
To ensure that GMP & safety rule and regulation been practice at workplace.
All other duties as instructed by the management from time to time.
