Job summary

Vitaltechnical is seeking an engineer to provide automation support for equipment modifications and implementation of projects in Rawang, Selangor. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechatronic, Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic or Manufacturing Engineering and be skilled in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.

Job description

This position is created for an engineer who is inspired to work in a technically challenging and dynamic environment. Successful candidate will be trained and developed into a problem-solver on a diverse range of technical issues. The position is based in Rawang, Selangor.

Provide automation support for equipment modification or installation project, and ensure smooth implementation of the project.

Collaborate with relevant stakeholders by assisting in the effective and efficient resolution of automation issues thereby improving all automation at the facility.

Good at trouble-shooting mechanical, electrical, electronic and control instrumentation. PLC programming skill is an added advantage.

Must be a hands‑on problem‑solver with ability to design and implement technical solutions.

Willingness to assist in sourcing parts/machines/equipment, and continuously learn and improve.

Take up any other task as assigned by the Management.

Requirements

Degree in Mechatronic, Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic or Manufacturing Engineering.

Preferably with 1 to 3 years’ experience in automation and process improvement. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as well.

Must be self-driven with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.

Able to think out‑of‑the‑box by innovating, renewing and initiating actions for improvement at workplace, and execute with determination to achieve the desired results.

Result‑oriented and able to work under pressure to complete given tasks.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Willingness to learn and comply with ISO 9001 & 14001 Management Systems.
