Job summary

Synturn (M) Sdn Bhd, based in Malaysia, is hiring an Automation Engineer to drive factory automation projects in our facility.

You will develop project plans, handle machine setups, install and commission equipment, and document procedures and BOMs.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics, at least two years' experience, and a hands-on approach to robotics and control systems. Five-day workweek, 8:15am–5:30pm.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical /Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years related experience.
• Experience with robotics, systems, control, and product engineering is advantageous.
• Five days work week (Mon to Fri: 8:15am to 5:30pm).

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans outlining tasks, timelines, resource requirements, and milestones for automotive projects.
• Handle machine setups and testing
• Installation & commissioning of machines
• Present factory automation concepts including cost estimation, milestones and ROI
• Prepare project documentation: operating procedures, maintenance manuals, drawings/BOM

We are now hiring for a Automation Engineer, to be based in our Malaysia office (Synturn (M) Sdn Bhd).

Job Description:

• Develop project plans outlining tasks, timelines, resource requirements, and milestones for automotive projects.
• Handle machine setups and testing
• Installation & commissioning of machine
• Active and patient listener from internal and external best manufacturing practices
• Mechanical design proactive and initiative to explore ideas for factory automation
• Capable of presenting factory automation on cost estimation, project milestone & return on investment
• Enclosure of project documentation for operating procedure, maintenance manual and its design/drawings/BOM

REQUIREMENT

• Degree in Mechanical /Mechatronics Engineering or its equivalent
• Minimum 2 years related experience
• Mechanical design proactive and initiative to explore ideas in relation for robotics, systems, control, and product engineering
• 5 days work (Mon to Fri: 8.15am to 5.30pm)
