Job summary

Star Media Group Berhad seeks a Senior Manager, Business Analytics to lead our analytics function, shaping strategy and measurement for all digital products. You’ll own the analytics roadmap, establish data-driven culture, and direct a team of analysts to support growth and monetization strategies.

You will build robust BI infrastructure, define tracking frameworks, and deliver executive dashboards to inform leadership decisions across subscriptions, advertising, and reader engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or postgraduate degree in a relevant field.
• 7–10 years in business analytics, product analytics, or data science.
• 3–5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Experience in digital media, news publishing, or data-intensive ad/digital commerce models.
• Strong web/mobile analytics architectures and BI visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute analytics roadmap aligned with revenue targets across digital subscriptions, ad yield, and reader engagement.
• Build tracking frameworks across digital products (GA4, CDP).
• Create centralized executive dashboards and BI reports (Power BI, Looker, Tableau).
• Drive experimentation with hypotheses, test designs, and A/B testing.
• Apply advanced growth analytics to identify opportunities across digital platforms.
