Job summary

Jardine Schindler Group in Selangor, Petaling Jaya invites applications for a Senior Analyst in Global Business Services RTR. You will handle month-end closings, reconciliations, intercompany analysis and reporting, ensuring GL integrity and compliance with tax rules.

The role requires 3+ years in a shared services finance environment, a degree in accounting/finance or a professional qualification, and strong analytical skills. Lift-industry experience is an advantage but not required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings with reconciliations and journal processing.
• Prepare financial reports, balance sheet reconciliations and ensure GL integrity.
• Reconcilie intercompany transactions and resolve aged/unreconciled items.
• Record fixed asset transactions and disposals with proper postings.
• Prepare indirect tax reports (SST/GST/VAT/WHT) and ensure timely submission.
• Collaborate with AP/AR, Treasury, and other groups to ensure timely closes.
• Support audits with documentation and evidence as required.
• Assist in process improvement, SOP updates and system enhancements.
• Support data analysis, project migrations and end-user testing for deployments.

Global Business Services RTR - Senior Analyst

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including account reconciliations, journal processing, settlements, and financial reporting in accordance with SOPs and company policies.
• Prepare and review financial reports, analytical reviews, balance sheet reconciliations, and ensure the integrity and accuracy of general ledger accounts.
• Execute month-end closing activities including settlements to COPA and validation of completeness and accuracy of settlement postings.
• Reconcile and analyse intercompany transactions and accounts, identifying and resolving unreconciled or aged items.
• Record and maintain fixed asset transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and related accounting entries.
• Prepare indirect tax reports (SST/GST/VAT/WHT) and ensure timely submission and payment to relevant authorities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including AP, AR, Treasury, Supply Chain, Operating Companies, and Group Finance to ensure smooth and timely financial closing processes.
• Act as a key contact point for accounting-related inquiries and provide guidance and support to team members on accounting matters and operational processes.
• Ensure service delivery meets established SLA and KPI targets while responding to stakeholder requests in a timely manner.
• Assist in internal and external audit requirements by providing accurate documentation and supporting information.
• Support process improvement initiatives, standardization efforts, and system enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and control within R2R operations.
• Support project implementation, process migrations, and transformation initiatives, including data analysis, user acceptance testing, requirements gathering, and end-user support.
• Maintain and update SOP documentation to ensure alignment with current processes, systems, and policies.
• Prepare management and group reporting requirements, including consolidation-related reports where applicable.
• Participate in ad hoc assignments, projects, and business initiatives as required by management.
• Support workplace safety initiatives by complying with safety regulations, attending safety training, and promoting a positive safety culture within the organization.

• Must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance/ Professional Qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA).
• Full set account knowledge is preferable.
• Good knowledge in Accounting, Project Costing, Taxation and Company Secretarial work.
• 3 years and above working experience in accounting/ Finance environment within a Shared Services Organization.
• Experience in lift industry is an advantage but not necessary
