Job summary

ONE1JSG, a Jardine Schindler Group business services center based in Uptown Damansara, Petaling Jaya, seeks a Senior Analyst to manage month-end close, reporting and intercompany reconciliations. The role requires a strong accounting foundation and 3+ years in a SSC environment.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and possess ACCA, CPA, or CIMA qualification; lift industry knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required; professional qualifications preferred.
• 3+ years of accounting/finance experience in a shared services environment.
• Experience in the lift/escalator industry is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities with accuracy.
• Prepare financial reports, balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger postings.
• Coordinate intercompany reconciliations and fixed asset records; support audits.

Join us as a

Global Business Services RTR - Senior Analyst

Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including account reconciliations, journal processing, settlements, and financial reporting in accordance with SOPs and company policies.

Prepare and review financial reports, analytical reviews, balance sheet reconciliations, and ensure the integrity and accuracy of general ledger accounts.

Execute month-end closing activities including settlements to COPA and validation of completeness and accuracy of settlement postings.

Reconcile and analyse intercompany transactions and accounts, identifying and resolving unreconciled or aged items.

Record and maintain fixed asset transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and related accounting entries.

Prepare indirect tax reports (SST/GST/VAT/WHT) and ensure timely submission and payment to relevant authorities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including AP, AR, Treasury, Supply Chain, Operating Companies, and Group Finance to ensure smooth and timely financial closing processes.

Act as a key contact point for accounting-related inquiries and provide guidance and support to team members on accounting matters and operational processes.

Ensure service delivery meets established SLA and KPI targets while responding to stakeholder requests in a timely manner.

Assist in internal and external audit requirements by providing accurate documentation and supporting information.

Support process improvement initiatives, standardization efforts, and system enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and control within R2R operations.

Support project implementation, process migrations, and transformation initiatives, including data analysis, user acceptance testing, requirements gathering, and end-user support.

Maintain and update SOP documentation to ensure alignment with current processes, systems, and policies.

Prepare management and group reporting requirements, including consolidation-related reports where applicable.

Participate in ad hoc assignments, projects, and business initiatives as required by management.

Support workplace safety initiatives by complying with safety regulations, attending safety training, and promoting a positive safety culture within the organization.

Must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance/ Professional Qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA).

Full set account knowledge is preferable.

Good knowledge in Accounting, Project Costing, Taxation and Company Secretarial work.

3 years and above working experience in accounting/ Finance environment within a Shared Services Organization.

Experience in lift industry is an advantage but not necessary
