Role Description

The Senior Account Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Melaka. This position is responsible for managing key customer accounts, building strong relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction with machinery products and services. Day-to-day tasks include identifying new business opportunities, preparing quotations and proposals, coordinating product demonstrations, and following up on leads. The Senior Account Executive will work closely with the operations and technical teams to address customer requirements, resolve issues promptly, and support after-sales service. The role also involves monitoring market trends, maintaining accurate sales records, and contributing to sales targets and revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably in machinery, industrial equipment, or related sectors.
• Strong customer relationship skills, including negotiation, presentation, and consultative selling abilities.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and management.
• Good organizational and time-management capabilities, including handling multiple accounts, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
• Comfort with basic technical concepts related to machinery and the ability to learn product features and applications.
• Proficiency in common office productivity tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email, and presentation software).
