Job summary

Carsem (M) Sdn. Bhd is seeking a senior operations leader in Ipoh to guide and develop engineers, technicians and operators while ensuring assembly production meets output, quality, and delivery targets.

You will drive continuous improvement, yield enhancement, and defect reduction, oversee equipment maintenance and tech implementation, and collaborate with R&D, Quality and Supply Chain to support NPI and technology transfers in a high-volume semiconductor environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or above in Engineering or related field.
Minimum 10 years of semiconductor manufacturing/operations experience with P&L exposure.
Strong knowledge of semiconductor processes (Front-End or Back-End).
Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, DOE, and FMEA.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop engineers, technicians, and operators.
Manage assembly production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
Drive continuous improvement, yield enhancement, and defect reduction initiatives.
Oversee equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and technology implementation.
Monitor quality metrics and apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, DOE, and FMEA methodologies.
Manage operational budgets, capacity expansion projects, and cost optimization programs.
Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and other departments to support NPI and technology transfers.
