Job summary

Johnson Controls in Malaysia is seeking a Sales Manager, Security Sales to drive growth of Tyco security solutions across targeted verticals. You will secure new projects, manage key accounts and achieve sales targets through consultative and technical selling.

Reporting to the Sales Leader, you will prepare technical proposals, designs, tenders and quotations, conduct product demonstrations, and ensure compliance with tender specs while negotiating terms and building a robust pipeline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in electronic security systems.
• Proven track record in project sales and achieving targets.
• Strong understanding of tender processes and project-based selling.
• Good technical knowledge of security system design.

Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned annual sales revenue and gross margin targets.
• Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities in targeted verticals.
• Manage and grow relationships with consultants, system integrators, contractors, developers and end users.
• Prepare technical proposals, system designs, tenders and quotations.
• Conduct product presentations and solution demonstrations to customers.
• Ensure proposed solutions comply with tender specifications and technical requirements.
• Negotiate commercial terms and secure contracts in line with company policies.
• Maintain strong pipeline management and provide accurate sales forecasting.
