Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Application Engineer in Malaysia to provide technical support for integrated security solutions, including design, costing, and proposal development. You will work with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to translate customer needs into end-to-end security designs using CCure, Lenel, Genetec, and Milestone platforms.

You should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, at least 5 years of relevant experience, familiarity with networking, and the ability to travel

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Process & Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in security systems design and pre-sales.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for security system design, costing, and proposals.
Develop design proposals, system layouts, and ensure compliance with project specs.
Collaborate with Sales, Engineering and Operations to align solutions and delivery.
Prepare technical submissions, drawings and high-level design docs.
Perform cost estimation and generate Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
Present technical capabilities to customers and travel for site visits when needed.
