Oliver James Associates Limited is seeking a Scrum Master to guide Agile teams through Scrum, Kanban and SAFe frameworks to ensure successful delivery in a fast-paced environment. You will drive Agile adoption, facilitate ceremonies, and collaborate with product owners, developers, testers and business stakeholders to maintain alignment and drive high performance.
Candidates should have proven Scrum Master experience, strong communication and facilitation skills, and familiarity with
Guide and coach Agile teams on Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile frameworks to ensure successful delivery.
Drive Agile adoption across teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
Collaborate with product owners, developers, testers, and business stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment.
Promote Agile values and principles across the organization to drive a high-performing Agile environment.
Utilize Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Support teams in managing dependencies, risks, and expectations.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.) and experience in Agile transformation.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to coach teams, resolve conflicts, and remove blockers effectively.
Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, or other Agile tools.
Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) are highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
