Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Scrum Master & Agile Delivery Lead to drive the delivery of strategic technology initiatives. The successful candidate will lead multiple Agile squads and oversee programs with budgets exceeding RM6 million, coaching teams and aligning with business priorities.

The ideal candidate will establish and scale Agile squads, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure rapid, continuous business value delivery through Scrum or SAFe methodologies.

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master & Agile Delivery Lead to lead the delivery of strategic technology initiatives. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale programs exceeding RM6 million, leading multiple Agile squads, and driving successful outcomes through Scrum or SAFe delivery methodologies. This role requires a strong leader who can establish and scale Agile teams, coach delivery squads, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure business value is delivered rapidly and continuously.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Delivery Leadership

• Lead and facilitate Agile delivery across multiple squads and workstreams using Scrum and/or SAFe frameworks.
• Drive sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning activities.
• Ensure teams consistently deliver high-quality outcomes aligned with business priorities.
• Promote Agile best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Measure and improve team velocity, predictability, and delivery effectiveness.

Program & Delivery Management

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large and complex programs/projects with budgets exceeding RM3 million.
• Manage dependencies, risks, assumptions, issues, and escalations across multiple teams.
• Define and manage delivery roadmaps, release plans, and sprint-based execution plans.
• Ensure project milestones, budget, scope, and quality objectives are achieved.
• Drive delivery governance and provide regular progress reporting to senior management.
• Design and establish Agile squads based on project, product, and business requirements.
• Lead multiple squads comprising approximately 20+ team members across technology teams.
• Optimize team structure, capabilities, and resource allocation to maximize delivery effectiveness.
• Mentor Business Analysts, Product Owners, and delivery team members.
• Foster collaboration, accountability, and high-performing team culture.

Stakeholder Management

• Partner closely with Product Managers, Portfolio Leads, Business Owners, Architects, and Technology Leads to define delivery plans and priorities.
• Manage business stakeholders' expectations through transparent communication and regular engagement.
• Facilitate decision-making and alignment across business and technology teams.
• Present delivery updates, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to senior executives and steering committees.

Agile Planning & Value Delivery

• Work closely with Product Managers and Portfolio Leads to translate strategic objectives into sprint-based delivery plans.
• Ensure product backlogs are prioritized to maximize business value realization.
• Drive incremental and continuous delivery of features through Agile release planning.
• Balance short-term delivery objectives with long-term product roadmap goals.

Coaching & Continuous Improvement

• Coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile mindset, Scrum principles, and SAFe practices.
• Act as a servant leader by removing impediments and enabling teams to perform at their highest potential.
• Develop Agile maturity across teams and establish best practices for delivery excellence.
• Champion a culture focused on customer value, quality, innovation, and continuous learning.
