Jora Malaysia's school IT department invites applications for an IT Officer to safeguard and optimise the school's information systems, from servers and networks to LMS and classroom devices.

You will lead IT projects, ensure data security and backups, support teaching and admin staff, and liaise with vendors to keep curricula tech-ready. The role is based on site in Malaysia with opportunities to contribute across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Experience managing school or educational IT systems is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of networks, LMS platforms, and device management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain school IT infrastructure incl. servers, networks, Wi-Fi, desktops, labs, and school devices.
• Oversee LMS including account creation, access management, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Provide technical support to staff and students across academic and administrative systems.
• Ensure security, backup, and proper usage of data and devices per policies.
• Coordinate procurement, installation, upgrades, and lifecycle management of IT hardware and software.
• Support classroom tech integration and IT readiness for teaching and assessments.
• Develop and enforce IT policies, acceptable use guidelines, and cybersecurity practices.
• Liaise with vendors and service providers.
• Maintain IT documentation, inventories and system records.
• Support school events and examinations requiring IT setup.
