We are seeking IT professionals with strong technical expertise, problem‑solving skills, and a passion for enabling education through technology.
Job Requirements
1) Infrastructure & System Management
- Maintain campus infrastructureincluding on-premises servers and local network systems.
- Configure network appliances to ensure high-level connectivity, Wi‑Fi stability, and maximum uptime for classrooms.
- Manage Microsoft 365platform administration, including SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams for staff and students.
- Administer Google Workspacefor Education, managing user provisioning, Gmail policies, and Google Drive access control.
- Execute preventive maintenanceand routine testing on lab computers, staff laptops, and classroom hardware.
2) Hardware & Technical Support
- Provide basic technical support to teachers, administrative staff, and students for daily IT issues.
- Perform corrective maintenance on desktop PCs and laptops, including hardware repairs, component replacements, and OS reinstallation.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity problems across campus LAN, Wireless, WAN, and internet systems.
- Resolve software glitches quickly to minimize disruptions to digital learning and daily school operations.
- Create user guidelines and technical manuals tailored for teachers, administrative staff, and students.
3) Security, Governance & Audits
- Enforce data securityand internal control protocols to safeguard sensitive student, parent, and financial records.
- Manage access permissions by creating and adjusting network user roles for different staff levels and student cohorts.
- Identify network vulnerabilitiesand implement strategies to secure the school's digital infrastructure against threats.
- Conduct awareness training for teachers and school staff regarding IT security standards and data privacy compliance.
- Support IT audits by maintaining accurate documentation, backup logs, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Administer the IT asset system to track, catalog, and manage the full lifecycle of school hardware and software.
- Conduct regular audits of school-owned devices, including student laptops, staff devices, lab computers, and printers.
- Track software licensing and renewals to ensure the school remains compliant and up to date.
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate the disposal or recycling of obsolete technical equipment.
5) Operations & Project Assistance
- Evaluate school processes to uncover areas for improvement and implement practical tech solutions.
- Assist the IT Lead with ad-hoc projects, campus events setup, or digital examination requirements.
Requirements
Min Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
1–2 years of working experience in IT infrastructure, networking, or in education IT field.
Proven experience inMicrosoft Office 365administration (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams) andGoogle Workspaceadministration is an advantage
Hands-on experience withPC/laptop corrective maintenance, server infrastructure, backup systemsIT asset management systems, and TCP/IP services.
Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication both in Bahasa Malaysia and English, and a high standard of ethics for handling confidential student data.
Based in Kuala Lumpur, with the willingness to travel within theKlang Valleyonly.
