Job summary

SEW-EURODRIVE Sdn Bhd in Malaysia invites applications for an Industrial Sales Engineer role based in Bintulu or Sibu. You will manage existing customers, develop new accounts, prepare quotations and provide pre-sales and after-sales support to drive revenue growth.

The ideal candidate holds a Engineering degree (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical), has 1-2 years of sales experience, is fluent in English and Malay, and is willing to travel with own car. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical) required.
• 1–2 years of working experience in industrial sales is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Malay, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing customers and develop new customers.
• Meet/exceed sales growth objectives as established by Management.
• Prepare quotations and follow up on sales enquiries/proposals.
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance and after-sales support to customers.
• Conduct regular customer meetings to understand business status and identify opportunities for revenue growth.
• Prepare sales visits and activity reports weekly or as required.
• Provide feedback on competition, products, and market needs.
• Facilitate meetings and trainings with customers.
• Attend and support marketing activities (seminars, trade shows, conferences).
• Deliver presentations and hands-on demonstrations of SEW products and applications.
• Ensure timely follow-up on invoices and prompt collections.

Roles:

Manage existing customers and develop new customers.

Meet/exceed sales growth objectives as established by Management.

Prepare quotations and follow up on sales enquiries/proposal from customers.

Provide pre-sales technical assistance and after sales support to customers.

Regular customer meeting to understand customer's business status, look for business opportunity and foster good customer relationship for revenue growth and customer retention.

Prepare sales visits and activity reports on weekly basis or as and when required by immediate supervisor.

Consistently provide feedback to the team in the organization regarding competition, product and/ or market needs.

Facilitate meetings and workshops/trainings with customers.

Attend and support marketing activities in seminars, trade shows, conferences and other marketing events that the company had participated.

Maintain a sound technical / application knowledge for all SEW products.

Deliver presentations and hands-on demonstrations of SEW products and applications for the purpose of product sales.

Timely follow up with customers for the invoice issued and ensure prompt collection and payment from customers.

Who are we looking for:

Applicants should be Malaysian citizen.

Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical)

At least 1-2 years of working experience in industrial sales will be a plus.

Fluent in English and Malay, both oral and written.

Independent, result oriented, resourceful and dynamic.

Good communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

Possess own car and willing to travel.
