Job summary

SEW-EURODRIVE SDN BHD is seeking an Application Engineer (Electronic & Electrical) to deliver technical support and application solutions for drive technology and automation systems in Johor Bahru area. You will analyze customer requirements, prepare proposals and specifications, and assist with commissioning and site visits.

The role involves collaboration with sales, product management and service teams, plus delivering presentations and demonstrations while staying up-to-date with the latest

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of electrical and electronic engineering principles.
• Knowledge of motors, VFDs, servo systems, PLCs and automation systems.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits and site support.

Application Engineer (Electronic & Electrical)

Provide technical support and application solutions for industrial drive technology, motors, gear units, frequency inverters, and automation systems.

Analyze customer requirements and recommend suitable SEW-EURODRIVE products and solutions.

Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and system specifications.

Support commissioning, troubleshooting, testing, and site visits when required.

Collaborate with sales, product management, and service teams to ensure successful project implementation.

Conduct product presentations, technical training, and customer demonstrations.

Stay updated with industry trends, automation technologies, and SEW product developments.
