Job summary

Thong Guan Industries Berhad, a leading plastics packaging manufacturer in Malaysia, is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support the Sales team with quotations, customer records, and sales reporting.

You will handle enquiries via phone, email and messaging, coordinate with Production, Planning, Warehouse, Logistics, Finance and Customer Service, and ensure timely follow-ups and accurate order status updates. Strong Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills and a customer-focused mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Sales Coordination, Sales Administration, Customer Service, or Sales Support.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-oriented with good follow-up skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Able to work independently as well as coordinate with the Sales team and other departments.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue quotations, sales documents, and other relevant sales-related paperwork
• Follow up with customers regarding quotations, orders, and pending sales matters
• Handle customer enquiries through telephone, email, WhatsApp, and other communication channels
• Respond to customer enquiries professionally and provide accurate information regarding products, pricing, availability, and order status
• Prepare and maintain regular sales reports covering sales activities, customer follow-ups, quotations, orders, and sales performance
• Enter customer, quotation, order, and sales-related information into the company's business system
• Coordinate with relevant departments such as Production, Planning, Warehouse, Logistics, Finance, and Customer Service to support sales requirements
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of customer and sales records
• Assist in coordinating sales meetings, customer visits, and sales activities
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information
