Job summary

PERFECT PACKAGING SOLUTIONS SDN. BHD. is seeking a Sales Coordinator in Penang to prepare quotations, process orders, and coordinate with production and logistics to ensure on-time delivery.

The role supports the sales team with reports, forecasts, and onboarding of new customers. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Engineering or related field with 1–3 years in sales coordination or customer service, preferably in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in sales coordination, customer service, or sales administration.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience using ERP or accounting systems is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Able to multitask and work under pressure.
• Proficient in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia to liaise with diverse clients and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue quotations, sales orders, delivery orders, invoices, and other sales-related documents.
• Process customer purchase orders and ensure order accuracy.
• Coordinate with production, warehouse, and logistics to ensure on-time delivery.
• Follow up with customers regarding order status, deliveries, and inquiries.
• Maintain and update customer records and sales databases.
• Monitor inventory availability and coordinate with relevant departments.
• Assist the sales team in preparing reports, presentations, and sales forecasts.
• Handle customer complaints and coordinate with relevant departments for prompt resolution.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and liaise with the finance department when necessary.
• Support new customer onboarding and maintain good customer relationships.
• Prepare monthly sales reports and other management reports.
• Ensure all sales documentation is properly filed and maintained.
• Perform other duties assigned by management from time to time.
