EXPOGAYA SDN. BHD. is expanding its sales and business development team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

The role focuses on identifying upcoming construction sites and pitching ready-mix concrete products, while building strong relationships with contractors, developers and project managers. You will quote, tender, and negotiate to secure profitable projects. The position emphasizes coordination with production and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in lead generation and business development within construction or real estate sectors.
• Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, site engineers and project managers.
• Experience in preparing cost estimates, commercial and technical proposals, pricing negotiation and closing sales.

Job description

Lead Generation & Business Development: Identify upcoming construction sites, real estate developments, and infrastructure projects to pitch ready-mix concrete products.

• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong ties with civil contractors, builders, developers, site engineers, and project managers.
• Quotations & Tendering: Prepare cost estimates, submit commercial and technical proposals, negotiate pricing/rates, and close sales deals.
• Operations & Logistics Coordination: Work closely with plant managers, dispatch teams, and technical/quality control staff to ensure timely and smooth concrete delivery to sites.
• Market & Competitor Research: Monitor local construction market trends, competitor pricing, and project pipelines.
• Account Management & Follow-ups: Track order fulfillment, manage customer feedback, and coordinate payment collections.
