Core services include controlled dismantling, structural demolition, site clearance, construction waste management, RORO bin rental, scrap metal recovery, material segregation, and responsible disposal and recycling. MT Smart Industries focuses on long‑term site support with planned waste management, monthly service arrangements, and coordinated scrap recovery to help clients reduce disposal costs, maximize material recovery, and maintain regulatory compliance. The team works closely with contractors, developers, project managers, factories, and site teams to provide practical, on‑ground solutions tailored to project needs.

Role Description

The Sales Executive is a full-time, on‑site role based in Bukit Mertajam, responsible for driving business growth for MT Smart Industries’ waste and scrap management services. In this role, the Sales Executive identifies and qualifies leads, builds and maintains strong relationships with contractors, developers, project managers, and industrial clients, and conducts site visits to understand project requirements. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include preparing quotations and proposals, presenting service offerings, negotiating terms, and following up to close sales and secure long‑term service arrangements. The role also involves coordinating with operations teams to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations, tracking sales performance, maintaining accurate records in CRM or sales systems, and providing feedback on market trends and customer needs. The Sales Executive is expected to represent the company professionally, support marketing initiatives, and contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Sales and customer relationship skills, including lead generation, client engagement, negotiation, and closing deals.
• Business development and account management skills to manage pipelines, grow existing accounts, and build long‑term partnerships.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities, with confidence in explaining technical services and preparing clear quotations and proposals.
• Basic understanding of construction, demolition, industrial operations, or waste management (experience in related industries is an advantage).
• Ability to conduct on‑site assessments, interpret client requirements, and coordinate effectively with operational teams.
• Proficiency with standard office software and, ideally, CRM or sales tracking tools for documentation and reporting.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, field‑focused environment with regular client visits.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel within Penang and surrounding areas for client meetings and site visits.
