Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a proactive account manager for a technical manufacturing environment. You will handle customer inquiries, calculate production estimates, and prepare commercial quotations while collaborating with internal engineering teams to assess feasibility and production capacity.

You will track projects from NPI to mass production and lead kickoff meetings to ensure precise client specifications reach production.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) for cost compilation and sales forecasting.
• Basic understanding or strong interest in technical manufacturing processes (e.g., sheet metal fabrication).
• Independent, organized, and confident in client-facing account management.
• Fresh graduates with a technical mindset, engineering/business degree, and a passion for industrial sales are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries, calculate production estimates, and prepare commercial quotations.
• Partner with internal engineering teams to verify project feasibility and production capabilities.
• Track project statuses from New Product Introduction (NPI) through to mass production.
• Lead project kick-off meetings to ensure accurate client specifications are passed to production.
• Manage client relationships through regular site visits and travel to Singapore as needed.
