Job summary

Total Metering Solution Sdn Bhd is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive technical sales, develop new business and manage customer relationships across Malaysia. You will convert engineering challenges into business opportunities and coordinate with engineering, project and operations teams.

The role requires a diploma/degree in Electrical, Electronic, E&E, Mechatronics, Automation, Instrumentation or related fields, with at least 1 year in Sales/Technical Sales/BD, plus Mandarin communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronic, E&E, Mechatronics, Automation, Instrumentation or related field.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Sales, Technical Sales, Sales Engineering or Business Development.
• Able to communicate effectively in Mandarin, as the role involves regular engagement with Mandarin-speaking customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain customer relationships across various industries.
• Identify new sales opportunities and develop leads.
• Promote electrical, energy metering, power and related engineering solutions.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and presentations.

• Coordinate with engineering, project, technical and operations teams.
• Follow up sales enquiries, quotations and projects from enquiry to order.
• Support exhibitions, business development and other customer-facing activities.
• Travel for customer visits and projects across Malaysia when required.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English


• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

• Possess a valid driving license
